Who are we?

Nestled on a breathtaking mountain plateau at the foothills of the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, our ranch is 4 km from the nearest village.

We are a family: Zoltán, Panni, and our three young daughters. We chose to live in the heart of the wild because we are passionate about and admire nature and its untouched beauty.

Horses and horse-riding play an essential role in our lives. In the summer, we organize a few horse-riding journeys in the area.

J.W Piet

J. W. Piet - originally from Amsterdam, came here in 2023 as a guest to join one of our horse trails. He fell so deeply in love with the region that now, with his immense riding experience from childhood, he is one of our trail leaders. He is also responsible for the good mood during the rides. German, Dutch and English speaking guide.

"One leg on one side of the horse, the other on the other side, keep it like this, and everything will be fine. And looking between the ears of the horse is also important."

Horses and Equipment

Our trail-riding horses roam freely on the vast pastures on our ranch all year round, which is one reason they can find their way in difficult mountain terrain. They are healthy, energetic, and strong, with a calm temper and sensitive to handling.
Arabs, breeds of Austro-Hungarian origin like Lipitzaner and Hucul, and sure-footed cross breeds between these and the local Székely horse. We use English saddles with small front saddle bags, which easily fit a bottle of water, snacks, raincoat, and other small personal belongings. If you require, you can receive a sheepskin on your saddle.
